Waller-Harris ESD 200 Fire Stations
Waller-Harris ESD 200 (WHESD 200), along with its contracted providers, covers approximately 600 square miles. WHESD 200 stations are strategically located to ensure that our community remains safe and protected.
Waller- Harris ESD 200 Stations
Station 6
Located at 25243 Stockdick School Rd in Katy, Station 6 protects the southeast corner of the district as well as provides mutual aid to surrounding departments. Station 6 is staffed 24/7 with primarily full-time crews which include a Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters. This station is home to Engine 206 and Booster 206. Station 6 was renovated in 2023.
Station 11
Located at 1400 11t h St in Hempstead, Station 11 protects the city of Hempstead and surrounding areas. Station 11 is staffed primarily by Volunteers with a staffed Duty Crew Monday-Friday 6am-6pm. This station is home to Engine 211, Engine 212, Booster 211, Booster 212, and UTV 211.
Station 41
Located at 26061 Magnolia Rd in Hockley, Station 41 is one of three stations that protect the Hockley area. Station 41 is staffed by Volunteers. This station is home to Engine 241 and Booster 241.
Station 42
Located at 29144 FM 1488, Station 42 protects with northeast corner of the district. Station 42 is staffed 24/7 with full-time crews which include a Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters as well as volunteers. This station is home to Engine 242, Booster 242, Tanker 242.
Station 43
Located at 27227 Baethe Rd, Hockley TX, in The Grand Prairie Subdivision, Station 43 protects the eastern side of the district. Station 43 and is staffed 24/7 with full-time crews which include a Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters as well as volunteers. This station is home to Engine 243, Tanker 243, and Booster 243. Station 43 opened on October 1, 2026, and is the newest station in the district.
Station 51
Located at 31601 FM 1736, Station 51 protects the northwestern corner of the district. Station 51 is staffed primarily by Volunteers with a staffed Duty Crew Monday-Friday 6am-6pm. This station is home to Engine 251, Tanker 251, and Booster 251.
Station 71
Located at 33977 Hoff Road in Brookshire, Station 71 protects the south end of the county. Station 71 is staffed 24/7 with full-time crews which include a Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters as well as volunteer personnel. This station is home to Engine 271, Tanker 271, Rescue 271, Booster 282, Reserve Engine 201, and Training Engine 1. The Station 71 renovation project was completed in 2025 and is home to the district's logistics center.
Station 72
Located at 5411 FM 2855 in Brookshire, Station 72 serves the southern portion of the county. The station also functions as the fleet management facility for all of ESD 200. Staffed 24/7, Station 72 is operated by full-time crews consisting of a District Chief, Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters, along with volunteer personnel. This station is home to a WCEMS Medic Unit, Tower 272, Reserve Boosters 201 and 202, and District 206.
Station 81
Located at 540 Ellen Powell in Prairie View, Station 81 protects the Prairie View community and surrounding areas. Station 81 is staffed 24/7 with primarily full-time crews which include District Chief, Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters as well as volunteer personnel. This station is home to Medic 281, Medic 282, Ladder 281, Booster 281, Drone, and District 281.
Station 52
Station 52 is currently under planning stages and will be located at 33922 Farm to Market Rd 1488.
