Waller-Harris ESD 200 Fire Stations


Waller-Harris ESD 200 (WHESD 200) along with its contracted providers, covers approximately 600 square miles. The WHESD 200 stations are located in locations that help ensure that our community remains safe and protected.

Station 6


Located at 25243 Stockdick School Rd in Katy, Station 6 protects the southeast corner of the district as well as provides mutual aid to surrounding departments. Station 6 is staffed 24/7 with primarily full-time crews which include a Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters. This station is home to Engine 6 and Booster 6. Currently this station is undergoing renovation and projected to be completed by November 2023. These crews participate in daily training activities during their 48hr shifts. 

Station 11


Located at 1400 11t h St in Hempstead, Station 11 protects the city of Hempstead and surrounding areas. Station 11 is staffed primarily by Volunteers with a staffed Duty Crew Monday-Friday 6am-6pm. This station is home to Engine 11, Engine 12, Tanker 12, Booster 11, Booster 12, and Special Ops 11. Volunteer training nights are scheduled for every Thursday starting at 7pm.

Station 41


Located at 26061 Magnolia Rd in Hockley, Station 41 is one of three stations that protect the Hockley area. Station 41 is staffed by Volunteers. This station is home to Engine 41 and Utility 41. Volunteer training nights are scheduled for every Tuesday starting at 7pm located at Station 42.

Station 42


Located at 29144 FM 1488, Station 42 protects with northeast corner of the district. Station 42 is staffed 24/7 with full-time crews which include a Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters as well as volunteers. This station is home to Engine 42, Booster 42, Tanker 42, and Utility 41. Volunteer training nights are scheduled for every Tuesday starting at 7pm.

Station 43


Located in Mallard Crossing Subdivision protects the eastern side of the district. Station 43 is staffed by Volunteers. This station is home to Engine 43, Reserve Engine 1, and Booster 43. Volunteer training nights are scheduled for every Tuesday starting at 7pm located at Station 42.

Station 51


Located at 31601 FM 1736, Station 51 protects the northwestern corner of the district. Station 51 is staffed primarily by Volunteers with a staffed Duty Crew Monday-Friday 6am-6pm. This station is home to Engine 51, Utility 51, Tanker 52, and Booster 52. Volunteer training nights are scheduled for every Thursday starting at 7pm.

Station 71


Located at 33977 Hoff Road in Brookshire, Station 71 protects the south end of the county. This station also operates as the logistics center for all ESD 200. Station 71is staffed 24/7 with full-time crews which include a Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters as well as volunteers. This station is home to Reserve Engine 2, Booster 72, Engine 71, Tanker 6, and Tanker 71. Volunteer training nights are scheduled for every Thursday starting at 7pm.

Station 81


Located at 540 Ellen Powell in Prairie View, Station 81 protects the Prairie View community and surrounding areas. Station 81 is staffed 24/7 with primarily full-time crews which include a Lieutenant, Driver Operator, and two Firefighters. This station is home to Engine 81, Booster 82, Rehab 81, Utility 42, Drone, and the command trailer for Waller County Fire Marshall Office. These crews participate in daily training activities during their 48hr shifts. 

Station 52


Station 52 is currently under planning stages and will be located at 33922 Farm to Market Rd 1488.
